Clinic Re-opening

We are pleased to announce that the easing of Covid restrictions means that we can now start seeing patients in the clinic once again.

We have taken this time to refurbish the podiatry treatment room and put extra measures in place to ensure your safety and well-being.  You can be reassured that all government advice is followed and regulations from Public Health England, the College of Podiatry and The Health & Care Professions Council are adhered to.

If you would like to arrange an appointment please call the clinic on 01993 201485.

Our receptionist is available between 9.00am and 1.00pm weekdays.  Outside these hours please leave a message and we will respond as soon as we are able.

We will need to go through some screening questions prior to booking an appointment and this must be done by a health professional so if our clinicians are unable to answer the phone, please leave your name and contact telephone number and we will respond as quickly as possible, with due consideration of urgency and clinical prioritisation.

When you come to the clinic there are some changes in our procedures that you will need to be aware of. Please arrive at the clinic at your appointment time and wait at the door. We will not be using our waiting area for the time-being.  Please come by yourself if possible.  With exception of vulnerable adults or children, additional people will not be allowed into the clinic.

Your podiatrist will meet you at the door at your appointment time wearing surgical scrubs, an apron, gloves and a mask.

You will be asked whether you or anyone in your household has symptoms of Covid-19:

  • New continuous cough
  • Fever
  • Recent change or loss of smell or taste
  • Please do not attend for your appointment if you have Covid symptoms or have been told to self-isolate by a contact tracer. In fact, just the same as normal circumstances we ask that you don’t attend the clinic if you are unwell in any way.  In line with government recommendations we would ask that all patients wear a face-covering but we can offer clinical masks for sale if necessary..
